Usability
Casting a ballot is fast and painless for your voters. The voting interface closely resembles a traditional paper ballot ensuring quick adoption throughout your entire voter base. Voters are enrolled in the VoteLogix™ system by either manual entry or a convenient bulk voter import. Once enrolled you have the option of alerting your voters of their login credentials by email or snail mail.
Convenience
We know that it isn’t always convenient for voters to access a computer and that some voters may be intimidated by computers, that’s why we offer three convenient ways to vote. Voters have the choice of casting their vote by computer, smartphone, or telephone.
VoteLogix™ provides your stakeholders with the ultimate in client-side flexibility. Voters, Administrators, and Auditors are able to connect to VoteLogix™ from anywhere in the world with only an Internet connection and a web browser.
Language
VoteLogix™ is flexible in that it is capable of supporting an unlimited number of languages. Each language set is available in its default form or you also have the option of customizing the entire language set to suit your needs.
Democratic
While all other electronic voting offerings are busy touting the fact their system will completely eliminate invalid spoiled ballots, we have integrated a method for voters to deliberately spoil a ballot. We believe that the option to spoil a ballot must be left up to the voter; this ensures the democratic process is kept intact. We acknowledge this behavior may not be preferred in all situations. As such, organizations may request that vote spoiling be disabled for their implementation.
Integrity
We understand how important it is to protect the integrity of the voting process from end-to-end. It is because of this intimate understanding that we have integrated so many extra checks and balances into the VoteLogix™ system.
Transparency
We’ve designed VoteLogix™ to be as transparent to the end user as possible. We believe certain aspects of the voting process should be visible to all voters, not just the vote administrators. In fact, VoteLogix™ issues a receipt with a Voter Confirmation Number (VCN) to each voter following a successful vote submission. The voter can then review their past votes and self-audit VoteLogix™ to ensure their vote was successfully received and counted.
Efficient
The VoteLogix™ platform will greatly increase the efficiency of any voting process. It is a well known fact that the byproduct of efficient processes is cost savings reflected on the bottom-line. Go ahead, implement VoteLogix™ and look like a hero!
VoteLogix™ is available exclusively as Software as a Service (SaaS) offering. This means you won’t need to invest in a costly server infrastructure and rely on other groups such as your Information Technology department to get up and running fast. We’ll take care of all the technical stuff!
Infrastructure
We take service availability very seriously; after all it is how we make our money. As a result, our management insists on owning and managing the entire infrastructure in-house. The TekStreme infrastructure consists of fully-redundant load balanced server clusters, active environmental monitoring, uninterruptible power supplies, and diesel backup generators – guaranteeing maximum availability.
Security
Every facet of the VoteLogix™ platform was designed with security in mind. We recognize that the security of VoteLogix™ is paramount to ensuring vote integrity and privacy. The VoteLogix™ design team has many years of experience architecting applications and infrastructure for the military defense and financial sectors. As such, VoteLogix™ was built to exceed these specifications.
VoteLogix™ employs several levels of encryption and one-way hashing when communicating on our internal networks, storing data in our databases, and most importantly, when voters access VoteLogix™ over the Internet.
In addition to encryption we use advanced enterprise-grade network firewalls and intrusion detection systems to keep your votes safe. VoteLogix™ is available with optional VPN tunneling, network Access Control Lists (ACLs), and two-factor authentication for organizations that require these extra security mechanisms to satisfy corporate and government security policies.
